Tropfest@Tribeca

Tropest@Tribeca is a new, free public outdoor short film festival     created in collaboration with Tribeca Enterprises, the company behind the Tribeca Film Festival and John Polson, creator of Australia’s Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival. Tribeca Enterprises hired CSM to assist with publicizing the 2007 event held on September 23 at the World Financial Center Plaza in New York City. Targeting travel editors and NY online media outlets, Culture Shock implemented a media campaign to travel editors and online NY event listings to promote Tropfest@Tribeca. More than 7,000 attendees gathered at the World Financial Center Plaza for the inaugural event. The event was covered in The New York Times, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The New York Sun, AM-NY, NY Metro, The Boston Globe, The LA Times, indieWire, and FREENYC. The 2007 Tropfest@Tribeca was presented by Target, supported by Australia.com, Nokia Nseries and official host, Brookfield Properties, along with media support from Daily News, Time Out New York, and WNBC.
