A multi-tiered communications campaign was organized by Ms. Anderson in Spring 2007 to publicize the acclaimed street artist Shepard Fairey’s New York solo exhibition at Jonathan LeVine Gallery featuring work in Chelsea and DUMBO. Targeted campaigns to graffiti street culture outlets, Brooklyn media and the national press in advance of exhibition openings, along with post-event press, fueled a media frenzy.  This generated four consecutive articles in The New York Times, including Art & Design features  about controversial street artist Shepard Fairey and the infamous “Splasher," as well as a breakout review in the Weekend Arts section. The New York Post, The New York Daily News, The Village Voice, New York Press, The New York Sun, The Brooklyn Paper, and other prominent daily newspapers covered the events. Online press generated was paramount, including online features and interviews in New York Magazine, Gothamist, and The Morning News. Additionally, Anderson coordinated an exclusive documentary filming of Shepard Fairey’s private preview reception with Ovation TV that aired in August 2007 on the program “Art or Not?". Anderson also worked with event supporters, including Two Trees Management, to increase visibility and support of cultural art events in the DUMBO district.
