Andy Warhol: In His Wake

Culture Shock Marketing promoted Carrozzini Von Buhler Gallery's historical group exhibition Andy Warhol: In His Wake, featuring works by four well-known celebrity artists from Warhol's Factory: Ultra Violet, Taylor Mead, Billy Name, and Ivy Nicholson. Also featured were Anton Perich, William John Kennedy, Sebastian Piras, and Steve Joester, four artists who documented Warhol, as well as six artists who have been influenced by him including: Amy Cohen Banker, Cynthia von Buhler, Pamela Martin, William Tisdale, Molly Weingart, and Gary Azon.

In addition to directing communications and publicizing the event, Anderson coordinated a private preview and reception for Gen Art’s Collectors Circle where hundreds of guests gathered for a reception and special introduction to legendary artists. The exhibit was covered on Fuji Television network in Japan, German TV and Swiss TV networks, The Villager, AM-NY, Gothamist, GenArt, NYCool, ArtInfo, Juxtapoz, and Supertouchblog.

Debra Anderson co-curated with artists Cynthia von Buyhler and Amy Cohen Banker and curator Kevin Kushel to feature works by artist Steve Joester. The Carrozzini von Buhler Gallery was visually transformed to look like Warhol’s original Silver Factory. The exhibition was extended due to popular demand, and on view from February 22, 2007 through April 12, 2007. In September, 2007, the group show traveled to Chicago's Kasia Kay Art Projects as Warhol: Factory Now.
